Butterflies and BikinisAfter seeing the Tori Praver Swimwear Collection at the 2011 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week-Miami Swim, we decided we absolutely HAVE to have her suits this year and we are beyond excited to have the opportunity to do business with her. After having spent time chatting with her in Miami, we are so thrilled to be able to spread the word about her fabulous line!

Tori Praver grew up on the sands of Maui, Hawaii, surfing and swimming in the sun of the tropical island paradise. Her childhood experience led to a life-long love of the beach lifestyle and provided the best background to launch her own swimwear line. Today, a successful swimwear model and designer, she knows just what women want to feel confident and comfortable. She channeled her expertise into an alluring line of separates, one-kinis and cover-ups that will have women strutting down the boardwalk or launching into the waves.

The fact that she is a model besides designing for Tori Praver swimwear has only been a huge advantage. She has a sincere passion for the fashion industry and particularly for the professionals that work at it. Tori has been featured on the covers and inside pages of top magazines such as, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, and Glamour among others. She has also appeared three times in the coveted swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated.

Tori’s sophisticated taste and eye for detail has been influenced by the designers with whom she has worked and the many places she has traveled. Yet Praver maintains her own simple yet successful philosophy that fuels her eponymous swimwear line. Tori has said that she decided to create designs that are more democratic in a way, so that a mother and daughter could both wear her designs because they appeal both to young girls and mature women.

“I’m free as a bird and the ideas come from my heart.”- Tori Praver
