The Luli Fama Swimwear Story

Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida, Lourdes "Luli" Hanimian has always aspired to became and innovator in the fashion industry. And she sure has. Growing up with the beaches of Miami at her doorstep, Luli developed a keen interest in swimwear. Luli Fama swimwear was created by Luli and her brother-in-law Augusto Hanimian. They met in 1990 while both working for Augusto's aunt, a well-known swimsuit designer. After gaining practical experience in the fashion and swimwear industry, Luli and Augusto launched their first company, debuting with Cover Style, a junior swim line. In 2003, Luli Fama was born.
