About Acacia Swimwear

Acacia Swimwear is a collection of swimsuits inspired by the love of travel and exotic beaches the girls get to call their home away from home! Acacia encompasses the lifestyle of the Gypsetter. It's a fuse between the perfect low cut Italian bikini and the flirty Brazilian fit. Detail oriented from custom prints, soft Italian fabric, and special charms to beautiful hangtags, Acacia is truly one of a kind.

Growing up on the island of Maui, designer Naomi Newirth was practically born in a bikini. Her passion for fashion and design blossomed in her teenage years and she eventually learned how to sew her own bikinis. During the summer of 2006 she had an opportunity to travel to Bali where she was introduced to the world of design opportunities, which inspired Naomi to start Acacia Swimwear. In June of 2008 she graduated with a degree in fashion from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Partner, Lyndie Irons was born and raised on the beaches of Southern California, needless to say, like Naomi, wearing a bikini daily was the norm. Modeling swimsuits since the age of 15 it has been a dream of Lyndie's to start a swimsuit line. Now, living in Kauai and traveling alongside her husband Andy Irons, who is a top ranked professional surfer, as he tours the globe, a bikini is a necessity now, just as it was then.

Being good friends, the girls discovered that they shared the same vision for a new fun and flirty bikini line, which brought them together as partners in the venture to start Acacia Swimwear. The two plan on continuing to grow as designers and as a company by catering to that cute and classy but daring girl who isn't afraid to stand out.
